Tabitha joined INASP in January 2019 and works as a Programme Specialist. She project manages our cooperation with Sida, fostering a supportive community for early career researchers to enhance their skills, build confidence, and expand their networks, enabling them to contribute meaningfully at a national and global level. In addition, Tabitha contributes to the design and delivery of INASP's learning offer for researchers and educators and leads on communications for INASP’s programmes.

Previously, her work focused on supporting our university partners in Uganda and Tanzania as part of the FCDO-funded Transforming Employability for Social Change in East Africa (TESCEA) project. She also supported the programme management of Strengthening the Use of Evidence for Development Impact (SEDI), which worked to strengthen evidence use in policy in Ghana, Uganda and Pakistan and in which INASP was the technical lead on capacity development.

Before joining INASP, Tabitha supported a large network of schools across Central America in the design and running of school enterprises. There, she trained and guided teachers in Guatemala and Honduras in the participation in a global enterprise challenge. Tabitha has lived and worked in Latin America, Zambia, Germany, and Australia and holds a master’s degree in social policy and social development from the University of Manchester.
