Buna is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at the Central Department of Public Health, Tribhuvan University Institute of Medicine, Kathmandu, Nepal. An experienced researcher, reviewer, trainer and evaluator, Buna holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the School of Population Health, The University of New South Wales (Australia) and is a Lown scholar for cardiovascular health program at the Department of Global Health and Population, Harvard T H Chan School of Public Health, USA.  She has published extensively in peer reviewed journals and brings this experience to the support and mentoring she provides to early career researchers in scientific writing. Buna is an AuthorAID Steward, and regularly facilitates on INASP’s online courses and webinars. She is also a mentor for the Publons Academy.
