This has created three exciting opportunities for the right people to join our dynamic team.
We are looking for a Programme Coordinator with expertise in Technology-enhanced learning, and who is passionate about online learning, to help support projects in higher education, research and evidence use in low income countries.
The successful candidate is likely to be an experienced learning technologist who is enthusiastic about developing high quality online and blended learning for professional learners across the world. They will be willing to work closely with INASP staff and able to provide professional guidance in the areas of learning design, learner experience, online facilitation, online learning activities and e-assessment.
The Role
The Programme Coordinator will report to our Senior Programme Specialist for technology-enhanced learning and will work closely with the Senior Programme Specialist and other colleagues in the technology-enhanced learning team, and with the Global Platforms for Equitable Knowledge Ecosystems (GPEKE) and Transforming Employability for Social Change in East Africa (TESCEA) project teams in the first instance.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of INASP’s technology-enhanced learning (TEL) team to provide advice and support to one or more INASP partnerships and projects
- Work as a learning designer, with content experts within the INASP team or externally, to develop online courses, modules or toolkits on a range of topics
- Work with the INASP team and with external consultants to develop learning content in a variety of formats
- Develop synchronous and asynchronous learning activities and sequences to support project activities and the achievement of project goals
- Advise on different tools that can be used to support the engagement of learners online
- Facilitate courses or other learning activities online, and ensure a high-quality learner and user experience
- Provide support to other members of INASP’s technology-enhanced learning team as needed
We are looking for candidates with
- At least 3 years of experience in a Technology Enhanced Learning role in the context of adult learning
- Knowledge of learning theory and learner-centred pedagogies
- Experience of using learning design to plan for high quality learning experience online and offline
- Experience of using Moodle and other digital packages to create high-quality learning experiences, and supporting others to use them
- Experience of using videoconferencing software to run online events and e-workshops
- Online facilitation skills (including online courses, e-workshop, webinars)
- Excellent writing skills and ability to develop high quality learning materials and guidelines for a range of audiences and in a variety of tones
- Ability to prioritise work across projects, and to manage work on projects with different timelines
- Knowledge of and interest in international development
- Knowledge of and interest in higher education, research communication, governance and policy making
Terms
Salary: £28,000-£35,000 dependent on experience
Duration: One-year fixed term
Time: Full time
Location: Flexible, but with regular travel to our office in Oxford. Able to work from home providing a good internet connection.
