Jennifer Chapin

Senior Programme Specialist

Jennifer is an international programme manager with 10 years' experience in managing multi-disciplinary and multi-stakeholder projects in the NGO, private and public sectors. She specializes in higher education, research and gender and she leads on INASP's work in gender-responsive programming. She was Project Manager on the Transforming Employability for Social Change in East Africa (TESCEA) project, which is focused on better linking up universities and graduates to improve employability. Her previous role at INASP involved supporting the capacity of researchers in low and middle-income countries to communicate and publish their research.  

Before joining INASP in 2016, Jennifer spent the previous four years at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in London, a role which included developing research best practice and quality assurance, supporting the development of actuarial research with 300 researchers worldwide. She holds an MA in education and international development, and previously worked in education strategy for the Royal College of Physicians of Canada. Since 2010, Jennifer has also volunteered to support a gender equality in education programme in Togo through a Canada-Togo partnership.
