Health Research for Development discussion list - HR4D-net

HR4D-net (Health Research for Development) is a global email discussion group dedicated to promoting health research to improve the health of people in developing countries.

HR4D-net is a collaboration of INASP and the Global Forum for Health Research.

Moderated by the Global Healthcare Information Network, HR4D-net is open for debate and exchange of knowledge on how health research, health policy-making and health care delivery interact.

HR4D-net will look not only at challenges, but also at sharing new evidence-based solutions to problems. The group aims to promote discussion that will:
(1) change the priorities governing how existing resources for health research are used
(2) encourage new resources that will be directed to research in the neglected areas
(3) foster research in the neglected areas to reduce the burdens of disease and disability.
