2011 Open Access Week competition winners announced

We are pleased to announce the winners of the 2011 Open Access Competition jointly funded with UNESCO. The winners will receive $500 (US) towards supporting the promotion of Open Access resources. 10 prizes were awarded in all.

This year the winners were:

  • BRAC University Ayesha Abed library, Bangladesh
  • The Botswana Library Consortium, Botswana
  • Acharya Narendra Dev College, University of Delhi, India
  • Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Kenya
  • National University of Lesotho (NUL) Library, Lesotho
  • Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU), Abia State, Nigeria
  • Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA), Tanzania
  • EED Association in partnership with the Bibliothèque Universitaire de Lomé, Togo
  • Uganda Scholarly Digital Library (USDL), Uganda
  • National University of Science and Technology, Zimbabwe
