Bandwidth Management and Optimisation (BMO): Training activities and consultation, December 2008
In collaboration with INASP, Juliana Rojas (Direccción General de Ciencia y Tecnología) organised visit by bandwidth and technical expert, Christian Benvenuti, to collect data and consult with 12 national institutions. Findings from the individual consultation visits and meetings will enable appropriate activities to be identified for implementation in 2009 which address bandwidth related issues.
Dissemination of Electronic Resources, Viceministerio de Ciencia y Tecnología, April - October 2008
A number of training activities on dissemination of electronic resources were organised by the PERii coordination team at the ‘Viceministerio de Ciencia y Tecnología' in conjunction with local institutions throughout 2008. In addition to the following workshops and conferences, a media campaign for diffusion of the virtual libraries was successfully implemented.
