Anna Boyajyan
Anna Boyajyan has been involved in science since graduating from university in 1976. She defended her PhD thesis in 1986, and received a doctor of science degree in 1997. She is an internationally acknowledged scientist, professor in molecular and cellular biology, and member of many international scientific societies. She has published three books and around 70 scientific articles and has received prestigious international and national awards for contribution in science and technology. Anna is currently the Director of the Institute of Molecular Biology of the Armenian National Academy of Sciences and Head of the Department of Biotechnology of the International Scientific and Educational Centre.
Gagik Gurzadyan
Gagik Gurzadyan received a Ph.D. degree from Moscow State University in 1983 and Dr.Sci. degree from Yerevan State University in 1996. Since 1980 he has worked at different scientific institutes and universities in Yerevan, Armenia; Moscow, Russia; Mülheim and Berlin in Germany; Paris, France; and Namur in Belgium. He has authored/co-authored six books and 60 scientific articles. He is currently a senior scientist at the Institute for Physical Research (Armenia) and at the Technical University of Munich (Germany).
Dominique Hounkonnou
Dominique Hounkonnou is an Agronomist and has a PhD in Social Sciences. He worked in agricultural extension in Benin from 1974-1984 and at the CTA, EU-ACP Centre for the Dissemination of Scientific and Technical Information on Agriculture and Rural Development in Wageningen, The Netherlands from 1984-1996. He is currently private consultant at Connecting Development Partners (CDP) International in Benin.
N. Mukunda
N. Mukunda obtained PhD in theoretical physics from University of Rochester, USA, in 1964. He was a faculty member at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, India, from 1967until 1972 and was Professor and later Honorary Professor at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, until his retirement in 2006. He is currently Vice President and Editor of Publications at the Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore, India.
Graciela Muñoz
Graciela Muñoz has published several articles in mainstream journals and she has also received several awards during her academic career, including the Zonta Award in 1977, which was given to her as the best female student to graduate from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. She is Director of the Institute of Biology and Editor-in-Chief of the Electronic Journal of Biotechnology, a Latin American open access journal covered by the ISI Web of Science. Graciela is currently a full professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso in Chile.
Praditta Siripan
Praditta Siripan has extensive experience in information and knowledge management in library and information services and she is active in metadata implementation for digital libraries, especially the Dublin Core Metadata Initiatives. Her current position is Director of the Technical Information Access Center (TIAC), of the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) in Thailand.
Wendy White
Wendy white holds advanced degrees in Library Science and Publishing, as well as undergraduate degrees in French and History. She managed the U.S. National Academy of Sciences library, information and publishing programs in developing countries and has worked with scientists in more than 50 countries. For 10 years, she was director of the Board on International Scientific Organizations at the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.
