Content Overview
The World Bank e-Library is an electronic portal to the World Bank's full-text collection of books, reports/working papers, journals and other documents on social and economic development. It is the most comprehensive collections in the area and it brings together, in PDF format, a fully indexed and cross-searchable database of over 5,500 titles, as well as every new title as it becomes available in print. In addition, subscribers have access to information not available in print. E-Library is fully searchable by subject, region, keyword, title, author, abstract, or year of publication.

Each developing country institution eligible for access (Document eligibility criteria, 38kb) is required to register to use World Bank Publications. If you have not used this resource before, you may need to check if your institution is registered and identify the contact person who has your access details. To do this, please go to the PERii registration system and select your country and institution.

Usage Data Collection
For World Bank e-Library you should download the statistics. Click on Sign in and log in by using the administrator user name and password you have created when you registered with e-Library. If you don't remember your combination, please contact help@ingenta.com.

  • Click on "COUNTER-compliant statistics" under the "Collection" section
  • Select the type of reports you would like to get
  • Enter your manager username and password, which are the ones you used to login to your admin profile
  • Enter the e-mail address where the reports should be sent
  • Click on Request Report
