Content Overview
CAB Abstracts® is a bibliographic database, compiled by CAB International (CABI). It covers the significant research and development literature in the fields of agriculture and related applied life sciences. It provides access to abstracts of the world's research literature from 1973 to present with coverage of English and foreign language journals, books, research reports, dissertations, conference proceedings, annual reports, developing country information and other difficult to obtain literature.

CAB Abstracts Full-Text Select is a full text database comprising articles from "hard-to-find" journals and conferences from around the world.
From 1 January 2009, CAB Abstracts will automatically include all of CABI's Full Text Select content! Further information is available on the CABI website.

Subject Strengths
Agriculture, forestry, aspects of human health, human nutrition, animal health, soil science, water supply and management, and the management and conservation of natural resources. Further details are available from the website

Registration Information
Each developing country institution eligible for access (Document eligibility criteria 38kb) is required to register to use CAB Abstracts. If you have not used this resource before, you may need to check if your institution is registered and identify the contact person who has your access details. To do this, please go to the PERii registration system and select your country and institution.
