INASP Trustee, Kay Raseroka, awarded title of Honorary Fellow of IFLA
An item in the recently released International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) 2007 Annual Report notes the awarding of Kay Raseroka, a member of the INASP Board of Trustees, with the title of Honorary Fellow of IFLA. The then President of IFLA, Alex Byrne, decribed Kay as making 'a major contribution, over a long period of time, in her own country, in her region and world-wide' (see page 14 of the report for the full citation).
Kay held presidency of IFLA for the 2003-2004 term. She is a longstanding, distinguished and valued colleague of INASP's, a former member of INASP's International Advisory Panel and, as of 2008 when the two bodies merged, now a member of our Board of Trustees.
See the Who's Who page for more information on the INASP Board of Trustees.
