Advanced Network Training in Nicaragua

08 March 2010

This month the Consejo Nacional de Universidades (CNU) and PERii Nicaragua are running an advanced network technical training workshop aimed at building local capacity.  The workshop will focus on network areas that support and enhance research work in the country. As part of the Bandwidth Management and Optimisation (BMO) project, one area of work will focus on how to practically apply techniques that effectively maximise existing bandwidth capacity.

Lack of  bandwidth capacity is frequently identified by our partners as a barrier to fully exploiting the potential of networked information resources. The BMO project works to address these issues with workshops such as Network Traffic Monitoring. For more information, see the BMO webpage.

This event in particular builds upon the BMO: Network Technical Training workshops held in Nicaragua in August 2009. See the Nicaragua events page for more information on that and other workshops.
