Effective Use of E- Resources in Local Research Institutions, 13 June 2009 , Pokhara University, Nepal
The Chief Librarian of Pokhara University Central Library, Mr Hemanta Raj Kandel,
organized and facilitated this ICT training workshop to raise awareness and usage of available electronic resources.  As part of his opening, the Dean of Science & Technology - Er. Ishor Chandra Baniya, welcomed participants and stated importance of this initiative. The event included presentations, discussion and practical hands on exercises aimed at the librarians, ICT personnel, faculties, and scholars attending. Participant feedback was very positive and the event was highlighted in Nepalese newspapers the following day.
