This localised institutional training was organised by Ronald Munatsi, Co-ordinator of the College & Research Libraries Consortium (CARLC) who also facilitated the training together with Mr. E. Makowe, the Executive Chairperson.
Training was presented to 27 participants from 15 member libraries who appreciated the opportunity to develop their knowledge of e-resources. There were a number of requests for further training to develop skills from this one day training. It is hoped that follow up to this training will be provided especially in the promotion of sustainable and effective utilization of available e-resources in Zimbabwe

Web Authoring workshop
The College & Research Libraries Consortium (CARLC) in Zimbabwe hosted a Web Authoring workshop for 25 participants from 24 to 27 April. This was the first INASP workshop that they have run and they plan to run a further one, on usage of e-resources, later in the year with advice from the local PERI Country Coordinator. They have recently acquired new computer equipment and believe that such training events, directed at researchers, will greatly help to optimise usage.
