The world's largest collection devoted to the provision of remote document delivery covering every aspect of science, technology, medicine and humanities, in many languages.
Libraries and Institutions should use this service to obtain those documents which they cannot obtain using other PERI resources. This service must only be used for ordering photocopies of documents and PERI will not support requests for loans of books and other materials.
About the British Library
The British Library Document Supply Centre (BLDSC) collection is probably the world's largest devoted to the provision of remote document delivery. It covers every aspect of scientific, technical, medical and human knowledge, in many languages. It holds journals, books, conferences, reports, patents, theses, official publications, music scores and images. Users can obtain a copy for research or private study of any article in the 260,000 journal titles held by The British Library or the 400,000 conference proceedings. The BL also features a core collection of 20,000 of the world's leading peer-reviewed and learned journals.
PERI will support the use of the BL's Inside Web service for online searching and the BL's Standard Service for online document ordering. This service delivers paper documents by airmail.
