ICT Professionals
ICT (Information and Communications Technology) professionals throughout the world play a vital role in connecting and enabling end user ICT mediated access to and dissemination of information. ICT professionals are central to ensuring that the computers, applications, technologies and networks exist and function to support end users and their successful use of ICTs.
INASP collaborates with and supports ICT professionals, their networks and associations through enabling skills training workshops, provide online and print resource guides, and informal advice. In particular INASP concentrate these efforts on working with RENs (research and education networks) and focus on Internet connectivity and bandwidth management and optimisation. INASP also encourage and support REN networking and the development of collaborative models to promote efficiencies and cost-sharing.
