Vilanculos of the World Health Organisation and his feedback reflects positive impact of the event ..was a great success and I believe the participants are now acquitted to deal with the registration and demonstration of the resource to the users .

Bandwidth Management and Optimisation (BMO): Campus Network Design and Linux Server Administration, Catholic University in Mozambique, Beira Campus 16-20 September 2008
The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Development. spoke during the opening on the importance of ICT in Higher Education and pledged his support for the continuous development of ICT skills among the Technicians.  From feedback received this workshop, attended by 15 participants from 5 different institutions and 8 provinces in Mozambique, was very relevant and highly appreciated.  The local organiser and facilitator, Wisdom Machacha, was pleased that immediately following attendance three of the participants had already applied skills learned by installing recommendations and configuring squid as a proxy. Mr Machacha requested that further, similar workshops are arranged to both facilitate those unable to attend due to limited availability and to help address an evident need for Linux skills in the country. Exchange visits to other universities in the region were also felt to be an avenue worth exploring.
