WALISJE Publishing Workshops

Working in partnership with the African Journal of Library, Archives and Information Science (AJLAIS), INASP has supported a series of three events for members of the West African Library Information Science Journal Editors Association (WALISJE) to help them develop their publishing knowledge, and build more sustainable publishing operations.

The events have taken place at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and included case studies by participants, discussion of lessons learnt and methodologies for improving the visibility of members' journals.

One outcome of these events was a publication on LIS journals which was freely distributed to all participants and other members of WALISJE.
