Bandwidth Management and Optimisation: Activity Partners

INASP work with a core group of expert and activity partners in the area of bandwidth management and optimisation. This includes people from the following organisations:

The partners to which these activities are focused and offered are those specific partners that INASP has been asked to work with in this area and/or additional institutional partners who meet certain requirements and have certain needs in this area. In addition, INASP aims to work with emerging or established National Research and Educational Networks (NRENs) where ever possible.

Universities and research institutions that meet the following criteria are of particular interest in relation to these activities:

  • Those that currently have a bandwidth management and optimisation problem
  • That have access to electronic information resources either via various access initiatives or via regular subscriptions and such
  • That have large-scale electronic information access use or demand by researchers, students and staff
  • Recognise that bandwidth needs to be managed as a strategic resource
