Annual review 2015-16
This review looks back over the year from April 2015 to March 2016, the third year of the five-year SRKS programme and the second and third year of the three-year VakaYiko programme. Highlights of the year included the addition of the Ugandan parliament to the VakaYiko Consortium; support for the development of gender-inclusive policies at the University of Dodoma in Tanzania; local communications support to the Journals Online platforms and journals; the development of a toolkit for training in evidence-informed policy making; mapping the research and knowledge systems in Somalia, South Sudan and Liberia; and an increasing focus on reaching disadvantaged researchers via our online courses.
The review also looks ahead to INASP's plans going forward following the August 2016 launch of a new five-year strategy.
