Are you a policymaker, a researcher, a capacity building expert or a donor interested in better understanding how context affects the interaction between knowledge and policy?

Webinar #6: Inter and intra relationships for using knowledge in policymaking

Join our sixth free webinar in the Going beyond ‘context matters’ series where we will explore inter and intra relationships, Dimension #2 in the Knowledge into Policy: A Framework to Understand Context. These include internal relationships between the public institution and other related government agencies and the interaction with external relevant users and producers of knowledge. How can we create and nurture fruitful relationships and co-generate an ecosystem that favours the use of knowledge in policy? Let´s identify smart ways forward.

About the Going beyond ‘context matters’ webinar series

Context plays an important role in determining whether and how research is understood, approached, and used by policymakers. But context is clearly a complex environment where different levels of policy decisions and implementation take place as the results of simultaneous interaction among several stakeholders. Therefore, to be able to detect key factors within context that affect the use of research in policy, Politics & Ideas and INASP decided to draw some boundaries that allowed focusing our effort when analyzing how context might affect research uptake.

The Going beyond 'context matters' webinar series explores in depth the six key dimensions of context outlined in a conceptual framework developed by INASP and Politics & Ideas.

The first five webinars are available to watch again on YouTube.
